We are looking for a highly motivated, commercially minded individual with strong operational skills and an excellent understanding of ad serving technologies to join one of the UK’s fastest growing digital networks.

The Ad Operations Executive will be responsible for supporting the Ad Operations Manager in all aspects of digital ad campaign management after the point of sale.

Key areas of responsibilities will include:

  • Liaising with the sales teams and clients and setting campaigns live
  • Daily analysis, monitoring and optimisation of campaigns
  • Reporting performance and delivery of campaigns to maximise sales revenue and provide a first class service to our clients


Reporting structure

Reportable to: Ad Operations Manager

Accountable to: Operations Director


Role and responsibilities:

  • Support the internal sales team in the planning and delivery of campaigns from signing of IO to go live
  • Collate key data for the sales team to support the sales process
  • Research available inventory for campaigns and make recommendations to the sales team to maximise delivery and performance
  • Add 3rd party tags and banners with multiple clicks to campaigns
  • Set up content on the CMS and send out to network partners for approval
  • Set new campaigns live on individual Trust sites
  • Troubleshoot any issues with campaigns, liaising with the technical team where necessary
  • Request screengrabs from network partners and collate for external clients
  • Liaise with network partners to maximise approval of content to support campaign delivery
  • Monitor campaigns daily to optimise delivery and performance and ensure they are delivered on schedule and in full
  • Analyse data and provide internal and external performance reports for sales team and external clients
  • Communicate with clients and sales team to ensure they are aware of campaigns status, issues, changes and opportunities


Key attributes and competencies

  • Strong analytical ability and experience and high attention to detail
  • Ability to work with complex data from a variety of sources
  • Highly planned and organised with excellent communication skills
  • Experience of working in a high pressured environment working to tight deadlines
  • Strong knowledge of ad serving and related technologies
  • Proven experience of managing accounts and relationships for multiple clients
  • Ability to quickly adapt and learn new technologies, tools and processes
  • Experience with DFP, DSPs, and HTML, Javascript and other rich media formats desirable


Professional experience

  • Educated to degree level (preferably in business management, computer sciences, data management or related field)
  • 1+ year prior ad operations and client service experience
  • Good working knowledge of Office and Excel
  • Experience with digital advertising platforms
  • Proficient in ad optimisation methods
